2001 Raptor 660 Will not Start

I am new to this site in much need of some help. I have a 2001 Yamaha Raptor that will not start. It has a new Extreme starter clutch and gear, New battery, New fly wheel, just replaced the stator, has a new coil, still no fire. What else could be wrong? This is driving me nuts. I bought it from a guy that said it only needed a starter clutch. WRONG... Needed a lot of stuff. I have not even had the chance to ride this bike yet. It is supposed to have a hot cam, oversized piston, and it has a full FMF exhaust system and it just sitting there looking at me, teasing me, mocking me... HELP... I am I missing something?

What is it doing when you try to start it(nothing at all, starter spinning but not engaging, clicking, etc)?

Yea man we need dynamic info, what is the bike doing? If it sat forever and didnt run the battery may be dead, thats the only thing I can say since the only info is whats supposed to be in the engine. videos are great too!

It is spinning, and acts like it wants to fire but does not. It turns over fine. The guy I bought it from said it sat for about a year. Carbs have been cleaned, fluid drained and re-filled, filter cleaned, spark plug changed, New battery. The works. Still no fire. The engine is fine, just the spark issue.

Would a bad CDI stop it from firing? Stator readouts are fine, battery is fine, Coil is new, Starter clutch is new. Can't think of anything else that would stop it from cranking.

I would start by pulling the plug and turning it over just to make sure I spark, if not fallow it back from there till I find the problem. If that was fine I would make sure the fuel was making it to the engine. If you have fuel and spark I would check the valve clearence and/or compression.

Well if it doesnt have spark, check your connections from your crank sensor, your plug boot and boot to coil, also the coil to cdi box. Make sure its not a connection problem first then move to replacing parts.

She bangs, she bangs.... I put a new CDI on her and she fired right up. It sat for a year, now I just need to get it to idle and warm up. Think she needs some carb work now.
