    Question 660 wiring question?

    I know the 01 and the 02-05 wiring is different but can someone
    Explain what exactly is different? Is it because of the gearing change?

    Just wondering considering my friend has a 2003 engine in his 2001 frame and still using the same wiring harness with no changes?

    The engines don't care what harness you use, the issue lies with the CDI. You must use an 01 cdi with an 01 harness, and you must use an 02+ harness with an 02+ cdi.
