Exclamation Gas over flow tubes on 660?

I currently just got a 04 660. I'm in the process of taking the raptor apart to take the carbs off to re jet and clean the carbs.

My question is I have gas dripping out of the drain holes on the bottom of the carbs when I leave the gas on. Is there any way to stop this from happening? Also is there suppose to be a tube coming down from them holes going some where?

I have only had a banshee and never had a 4 stroke quad and I didn't think it was a common practice to have to turn the gas off every time I turn the raptor off because if I don't all my gas will just drip all day long. Any assistance or pictures of the tubes or anything would help. Thanks

Since u have it apart, take the screws out and scrape any crux out. This should get the screws to go all the way in. Make sure u chemically soak the bowls and bodies if there that bad. But be sure to remove all plastic and rubber parts. And yes, there should be overflow tubes that come off the bowls. These tubes run down to the rear shock area to let gas fall onto the ground rather than the motor. But these tubes have a 1 way valve on the end of them so no water or sand makes its way up into the carb.
