    *Rappy!* Raptor 660 Build Thread




    Here's a quick clip of my buddy installing the carrier bearings with heat and liquid nitrogen. It's a pretty nifty way to do this and it puts a lot less physical stress on the bearings.

    I usually use dry ice but that works too!

    Silencer: short and all painted up. I'm pretty happy with how well this turned out!

    How did you smooth out the canister? As I remember it had dents and gouges.

    Lots of work!!!! lol I cut the muffler in half after the large dent, so its exactly half the size of the original, the other gouges were filed, sanded out with a die grinder, and sanded by hand.

    Looks good. I have polished a 660 carrier and swingarm before and I know how much work it was to get is smooth! lol
