a bit quicker and reach more rev's at top end
im racing 300ft drags on soft sand
i currently have full yoshi pipe k&n filter (no box) and jetted

i have heard good about the skat track haulers. dont know how many paddles tho. i dont ride sand. as for sprockets i would look a 12t front sprocket. and leave the rear stock. this will let you pull prety quicker. but you will lose some top end.

I tried the 12T and couldn't keep the front end down even when feathering the clutch pretty heavilly. I would suggest sticking with the 14 because after more air flow ( pipe and K&N ) you should have enough top end to pull on most 450s, not to mention after your jetting is right. Keep in mind that the Rappy is designed for low to mid range power and I don't think the 12 really gives it a chance to wind out, all your doing at this point is shifting too quickly. I'm sure that everyone has their own opinion about this issue but I suggest a 14T in front and keep the back at 40. As for tires, stick with 20s if possible. With the soft sand, I think this is your best set up even at 300.

I run 12/42, 12/43, or 12/44 for just about everything. I haven't had a chance to ride to ride much sand yet, but those gears work good for our 300ft hardpack dirt drags.
I run right around 60mph with one of those gears, (can't remember which one...LOL), and 22in tires on our track.

For drags ya want your bike to hit top speed just before the finish line. If it's wound out before ya get there raise the gearing, if there's more speed on tap when ya cross the line, lower the gearing.
Like 72josh said, ya might have a problem keepin the front down, but raising the gearing isn't the way to keep it down if ya want the best speed/times.
A 4in longer swinger and short front shocks seems to work really well for me. I launch wide open in 1st or 2nd gear.
