raptor 660 choke cable replace

Friend of mine need this question answered.....

hey everyone, well since my bike is down(wating on clutches) I figured i would take the carbs out and give them a good cleaning, since the bike has been acting up lately. Well i go to take the choke cable out and i notice where it goes in the nut on the carb, its broken. Come to find out since it looks to have been broken for some time now it has rust in it and will not move. I come to the conclusion that maybe that was my problem all along. So my question is, under normal circustances how does that cable come out?

If you are saying that the choke plunger is stuck, I have had two sets of 660 carbs do this to me and I have ruiend both trying to fix it. Where the choke cable enters the carbs there is a nut, is that the nut you are talking about?

got it out today, only ruined the cable which was shot anyways, and the plunger so its almost ready
