    Valve adjustment advice

I just picked up an 06 raptor 700 about a month ago with real low hours. Bone stock, original tires, fluids are all clean, everything is tight and right. What I'm trying to figure out is if I should take it to the dealer to have the valve clearances checked. The quad runs and starts great and everything sounds ok but I know this is an important maintenance item and I don't want to overlook it if it needs attention. Any advice?

Sure. Then you won't have any concern about not having checked them.

Hard starting is a symptom of the valves needing to be checked for proper clearances. If the stock valve train sounds significantly loud, then check the clearances.
