    Hdd 5050 cam question

Are there any in here run hdd 5050 cam? If so how do you like it and does it perform good on flat dirt 300ft drags? I'm thinking about swapping my hc3 out for that cam on my 2016 Raptor 700. I'm don't see many recent feedbacks or write ups regarding this cam.

The 5050 cam is not a drop in cam, you will need a spring kit, and you will have to clearance your head for that cam, and without porting and supporting mods that cam will be too big. Assuming you are mostly stock?

I have kibble white springs, +3tb, fci, sparks exhaust, pc5, hot cam 3. I understand what's needed for 5050 cam, but I'm about to install a 12:1 piston, and ported head with +1 valves. I'm wondering if swap my hc3 for 5050 cam worth it?

I can't answer that for sure but I have the 5050 in mine and have had a x2 , x4 and m1 so far the only one I have not really liked was the m1 it lost a lot of bottom but back then I was only 686cc and 11.5:1 compression
Never tried a hotcams a bunch of my buddy's have ran them but our setups are to far apart to tell what would be better as far as cams
Look for a used one if it helps great if not put it back up for sale

Make sure when you get the head done the cut the cam opening to fit the bigger cams and get the rocker done right away as well then you can play with it.

All the cp pistons should clear the normal big cams so that should not be a issue
