    sedona

I'm going to sedona for a week around new years. I'll be driving from california. was wondering if anyone knew about the trails/riding area near sedona. is it worth hauling the bikes out there? any info/advice would be greatly appreciated.

the only place i was able to find was munds park ohv trail

Munds Park OHV Trail System - Arizona Motorcycle and ATV Trails

it says it closes during winter months.

Munds Park is closed because they get a lil snow up there during the winter. Make sure your quads are AZ street legal or else you will get a ticket. Great places to ride up there

Check out Riding Arizona - One Trail At A Time and use the search function to get alot of details about the area.

thanks johnny. would it be hard to make my quad street legal in AZ, especially coming from CA? i assume i need mirrors, and turn signals? would i have to register in AZ as well?

sounds like im gonna have to leave my toys at home.

I've ridden a few trails around Sedona. The views are really great. Snow is an issue though this time of year. If it's not a hassle, I'd bring the bike.

Dont forget to get you Red Rock pass. I rented a lifted Jeep for those trails already. heard that atv can have a hard time on some of the trails, bottom out. Devil stairs being one of those trails. Snow should not be an issue really as most of the time it is gone by noon.

hey guys, i just found this off AZ website. it looks like if i'm coming from out of state, i should be ok to be offroad and non street legal. if you scroll down towards the bottom, it spells out the out of state law. am i reading this correctly?

New OHV regulations in Arizona will go into effect Jan. 1, 2009
