Awesome, new here but slowly doing the mods to my youngest sons quad. I had originally got him a xr70r due to his love of motorcycles, but still hasn't fully grown into it, and as such big brother graciously took it over. After modding power wheels and what not, they never quite kept up with the dirt bike. So this year I got him a used raptor 50 and it's been a hit ever since. But now big brother wants one too. Geez there won't be a mud puddle safe for 50 miles lol.
Anyway have already picked up a badger 80 motor to rebuild and install once done, rebuilt and rejetted carb, homemade snorkel of sorts to keep the air box dry since this thing is a mud hole magnet, modded throttle and slide, and powder coated a few pieces to make her look good. Next step probably cdi then slip on and see if we can crack the sound barrier haha. Btw when you said modded the computer you meant the cdi, if not going to be forum troll til I find out. Il see if I can get some pics posted, and as I get things completed.

Yea, they sell CDI boxes that raise the rev limiter and supposedly give it more power down low.

    Coop we miss you brother..
