    Burnt wire?

Hi new to the forum but been browsing for a while and got loads of useful information from here so thought I’d join 🙂

I have a 2003 660 that Iv been slowly bringing back to full health. It’s always ran well part fro a couple of minor issues.

It runs fine all day as soon as I turn the lights on the battery drains and it won’t start. It doesn’t cut out mid ride or anything but if iv had the lights on for an hour or so and then turn off it will not start off the button. Any ideas?

Also real difficult to select neautral when running?

And any ideas what this wires for? It’s burnt at the end? (Picture attached)

And thanks for all the info I have got from various members already!

    Chris
