2003 Raptor 660 wont go into gear .help.

Was riding my raptor and my chain fell off and now when I turn it on it doesn't run . Like if u try to go in first gear it just sounds like it's in neutral. Engine sounds fine. But it just wont into gear. Any ideas?
    Thanks

Sounds like the dreaded 660 transmission issue. When the chain came off, it probably jammed in the front sprocket long enough the shred a gear in the trans. Pull the clutch cover off and see what you find. When you drain the oil also check for metal or plastic pieces. Dont run it much until you know. The oil drive gear is plastic and and metal running through it will cause stop oil flow.

What would I have to buy to get it fixed ? A new transmission? Or just the trans gears?

Someone who knows what they are doing would need to pull the motor and go through the trans to see what the problem is and replace the gears that are damaged. This is not something a rookie would want to tackle without help.
