    Case Saver Advice

Hi all, I just picked up a 2008 Raptor 700 a month or 2 ago and it came with this case saver, or more so a chain guard. Would you consider this a good case saver or is this more of just a guard since it only protects about half the chain from getting to the case and seems to still use the stock "case saver" metal piece.

Not good IMO. I would get rid of that. Go with a upp case saver or the tm designs case saver.

Upgrade to the UPP it’s almost rubber like so it absorbs impact if the chain breaks rather then transferring it directly to the case saver bolts. A severe enough chain snap will take that metal one and shear it right off the case so it’s not really a saver.

I think its fine as long as you have the metal piece installed. The aluminum is just for looks. I dont like the plastic ones.

    Coop we miss you brother..
