    Yamaha Raptor 700 SS/SB Build

Hey guys Iím looking to build reliable power out of my 2007 Raptor 700R with a stock stroke and bore build. Looking for suggestions on the best cam, intake size, compression ratio, and valve setup to squeeze the most power out of it on pump gas. Going to cryo the entire motor for starters but need input on the best parts to go into it.

    Mods now are:
    DASA Duals
    MSD Blaster
    FCI intake

Are you running 93 pump gas? I was going to go 11:1 to prevent ping. The best I can get for gas out here is 91 octane in most places. Whatís the reason for +2 throttlebody and not a +3? keeping your low-end? Iíve never heard of a +2 only +3.

Our elevation is 4500'-5000, only 91 octane available here... +2 throttle bodies have been around for numerous years. Plenty of +2 builds around.

Nice! I just hadnít heard of anyone running +2 since most guys bore them from 44mm to 47mm. Iím at 1,000ft elevation. So probably would be better off going 11:1 but I like your build. 70 hp is a solid number!

Definitely 11:1, at your elevation, if building for a pump gas build

    my build

See my signature for my specs. I run a 50-50 mix of 91/112. Ride the same areas as Buddah. Mine detonates bad on just pump gas.
