    Str racing swingarm

Anyone running a Str Racing swing arm? Out of Portland. He just does .120 dom steel tube arched style +4 and up. I see that 4 out 5 companies use chromoly. Any reasons why the .120 dom steel tube would be a bad idea? Im not worried about saving 2 pounds in weight. Trail and dune. Thanks.

I'm not a fan of his design, I can see it causing issues. I know he hasn't been making those for very long. Stellar, Turbo Chassis, Tyson racing, all safe bets.

It's more of an opinion than a fact, since he doesn't have many swing arms out at all, nobody has had feedback either way that I have saw. The way the two upper tubes connect to the carrier housing is what worries me.

For the same price, you could get one made by a proven shop that has hundreds of parts out. Tyson racing whom I mentioned earlier is located in South Lyon, not sure where you're at. I have one of Brad Tyson's arms and it's very beefy.

Talked to tyson today about a +4 arched. He didnt recommend the arched style for trail riding. That design is the way i want to go. Any thoughts on durability for trail use and a little dune use?

STR swing arms are solid, he is my neighbor and a very talented dude. my other neighbor runs his swing arms on his moded 700 raptor and his wife's near show banshee.

I just asked him to make one for my wife's 06yfz and my 09 yfz450r.

We are duners mainly here in Oregon were there are some gnarly tree shots and we find the deepest darkest holes to drop our quads into and his arms have served us very well. They look sick too!

Just my opinion I wouldn't hesitate and wallet is where my mouth is.

    Good luck!
