Nice site btw! I'm going to buy a new raptor 700, and I want to know if it would be worth the wait on the 09 raptor or should I just pick up an 08? TIA

Yeah, they redesigned the thumb throttle and the digital speedometer/tripmeter looks cool!

Shock upgrade??? what shock upgrade? I have an '08 and I have two speed compression damp. adjustment and rebound what more is there?

I would go with an '08 and try to get a deal on it?

i would say it depends on the price.. if you get alot of money off the top go 08 if not go 09.. i'm really not impressed with the whole speedo thing.. it make the top of the nose peice look funny when looking at it from the front.. that and i would rather not know how fast i'm going..

Look here at the 2009 features. I guess the 09 has a little longer stroke on the shocks:
