Can I mix in any of the green stuff from the auto parts store or do I have to buy the Yamaha stuff?

I just changed mine-- am using blue BMW coolant.

I see no need for the Yammy stuff, as long as it is compatable with aluminum motors.

Generally, all the green stuff is pretty much the same, but I like to just change it all if there is any question.

I am going to go to Engine Ice when I get a chance but until then I am on the low line so I am going to top it off. Guess I need to head to the store for some of the green stuff. :beerchug:

I dont know from experience but I have always read not to mix the different colors. Keep green with green and orange with orange. I do know from experience if your gonna put water in it to use distilled water. If you dont the minerals in the regular water will solidify and clog or at least cut down on the flow over time.
