I have ASV F3 shorty levers on my 700 like them alot. I ride mainly wood trails and occational track time.

I think it depends on your clutch setup.... I rode a bike with a slingshot set IP and had a Shorty on it and it was hard as hell to clutch it... but on my personal drag bike I have a Shorty but with a DD lockout

Like the shorty lever in the woods since it makes it easier for me to hold on with the non-clutching fingers without squishin' down on them.
