i dont know of any install issues but consider the bearings in both. I had a magnum on my 400ex and when the bearings went it was always a pain geting new ones and they hurt the old pocket book. Them twin rollers for that were 55 a piece and another 7 a piece for seals from the local company. If they make the tapered kind i would look into it, thats what the old predator comes with in the rear and havent had to replace it yet, they are actually made to take a heavy side load and the bearings are cheaper than our ball bearings. figured I would throw it out there. I was really happpy with the magnum carrier though.
