Im going to call in the morning and see if my local shop can give me a hook up on exhaust. They should be able to bend it and set it up pretty easily, but what about where the headers connect to the motor ? Can i reuse the old pieces and just rebolt them up ? also if anyone has ever done this before let me know if theres anything i will encounter.

because im not about to spend $600+ on exhaust when i got my whole truck done true duals for $90 which is about 10x the pipe. They are ridiculously priced IMHO.

you've got to pay to play...its the name of the game... i dont think this exhaust is going to turn out the way you expect...? do you have a muffler or are you going to just bend some drag pipes? theres guys on here selling used stuff all the time for alot cheaper than 600...check out ebay from time to time...i dont mean to be pestimistic im just trying to give my 2 cents and save some of your time...i enjoy fabricating my own stuff too but some things just have to be bought....

I say go for it. If it only cost you $90 to do your truck then whats it going to take to build a system for the raptor? $100. Besides, who wants a raptor built with bolt on parts?

I would too - especially if the the guy gets a dyno sheet before and after and can show a gain. Then I'd ask him to have that shop fab me up a set as well.
