I just got a response to an Email I sent to Dunlop about the new Quadmax Sport tires. They are supposed to be out in the fall of 2008! They were first seen last year at the trade shows and now a year later they will be ready for purchase.:eyebrow:

I don;t know how these tires are going to stack up against the tried and true tires (Maxxis,ICT) but I loved my dunlops on my CR250. I know that our stock dunflop are weak as hell but I still smoked a 4mod 450 honda!! and I'm all stock.

Nice info, never hurts to have another choice, more competition to drive those prices down! :D

The stock dunlops are terrible in wet or rocky conditions, but i bet the new tire will not be a 2 ply. They need to make a heavy duty 6ply, ppl will sacrifice a little extra weight if they last like they razr2's and HD's.

looks like they are more of a MX track type tire...i dont think they would be competing with the HD's and razr 2's...

Well there are two types of the new quadmax sport tires. looks like what comes on the LT-450r stock and the other style looks like a standard maxxis

The reason he posted this was because of how badly the Dunlop 165's spanked the Razr II's and HD's in the sport tire test. They did virtually everything better in our terrain, and they are light enough that you can feel the difference:thumb:

Great info. there Kenny. I have always thought that Dunlop made a great tire....well until I got my rappy and had the shitty stock tires. I will give these tires a try if I havn't bought my razrII's when the dunlops are availble for purchase.
