I just got a few of these hand guards in to check out. They seem like a nice setup and are priced right. The more expensive style is very strong and easy to replace the actual guard if you brake it. (The guard itself runs about $18)

Here is the first setup which are called the stingrays

The entire kit is $38 shipped. They are not as strong as the next style but definately a good buy for the money.

The next one are XC style Here is a picture of them

Cost on these is $81 shipped for your choice of color. They are very srong and like I said if you happen to break the guard (the plastic piece) the cose is $18 to replace them.

I have the guards for both stock and oversize bars. They come in Red, blue, black, yellow, white, green, and orange.

those are nice hand gaurds though...I'm not a big fan of barkbusters though,When I rode a yz450f I had a nasty reck and got a bad wrist injury because my hand slipped of the bar and got jammed in between the barkbuster and the grip..

Powermadds are nice but not everyone wants to run them. We sell a lot of the barkbuster style to the GNCC woods racer guys and the stingrays to anyone looking for a real cheap handguard option.

I agree high speed racing through tight trees, barkbusters are a must, they will save you much more often then hurt you  But being a old fart,I take these really tight trails at low speeds, barkbusters for the casual rider are not needed and unless you ride GNCC or hare scrambles,or are just a adrenaline junkie I would not recommend them,as I stated above..They can really hurt you in a wreck..But also I feel every woods rider should have some kind of brush guards on their ATV and you have better prices on brush guards then Powermadd can offer for the penny pinchers :thumb:

Ernie,

How is it mounted? Did he mount it on exisiting tabs on the frame or did he add a bracket?

I would like to finally add my Dr. D reverse lever to my Rappi but with the fasst flex bars and the Power Madds, I have no more room for the Dr. D reverse lever!
