This is a comparison going from a stock filter with lid off, to a $20 universal filter with box removed, to a K&n custom filter w/ an outerwares on it with a plastic tube as the adaptor w/box removed
Phenominal! Hopefully my GYTR is comparable to the K&N! Have you tried dynoing your wheeler with slicks vs knobbies to see what the hp differences are? We've all heard of "hp gains" on the dyno with slicks compared to knobbies and you shouldn't even have to buy anything to try that one, except for some gas.
as far as the gytr, pro design, trinity and others, i dont think they will come close do to their filter size... also this K&N has an AIR HORN built in to the molded rubber
You're a dyno machine and all of this experimenting you are doing is GREAT! All the talk of all the different mods and you provide the proof! Saving us $$$ on not doing the same mod twice! :beerchug:
thanks, both filters were picked up at the local PEPBOYS, the first was returned
yeah, the notes were printed on a second page...then scanned, then uploaded....takes too long to change..
