This mod has been a mystery to me so I looked into it. There are two different versions, an inline and a cam cover version. This mod keeps your engine running more efficient and releases the pressure from the crank case eliminating a vacuum. It will increase fuel economy and give you a slight HP boost. The inline version sells for around $75 and the cam cover version sells for $135.

I am going to try to get my hands on one of these to do a writeup on them. :thumb:

Here are a few pics of the parts, I will see if I can find some installed pics..

I have the inline one. Note: It does not come with hose clamps.

Sorry Tim, I'm such a slacker! It's a patented one way valve that is extremely sensitive. It allows air to escape the crankcase, but not re-enter. It withstands Nitro and Methanol fuels. I have some guys that have dyno'd it, and I have seen 1-4hp gains on any build from totally stock to full on 14:1+ compression. The rings seat better, and fuel mileage and power are improved. It is real hard to quantify on the dyno, because you can usually feel the difference which is not indicative of a 1 horse gain. It will pretty much eliminate oil leaks, even from lockup clutch covers. It is kind of like a PCV valve on steroids. I have already had guys trying to do the same thing with PCV valves, and the valves fail, sometimes making a big mess. I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time when I found these! I am just amazed at how they work:thumb:

I just received both styles in today and got a huge response from everyone on them. Thanks Kenny for the great product. By the way, give your self a hand, the polishing is better than you think!! I just gave it that little extra!

Here it is installed - the side cover -

His rings had not seated yet. Once everything starts to fit together a little better, it will smooth out. An engine built around a low tension ring package really shows big gains:thumb:

Thanks Kenny...........:thumb:....Sandaddy ( Don )... Part of the reason I asked is that I thought John had more hours on his build and I thought you meant the..."the valve gets better with age"...just like me...LOL...and I didn`t know how that would work or why that would be
