So why are the paddles staggered and as near as I can see, them babies are 14 paddles, wow... just what tells you how many paddles you should be runinng? HP, type of event, sand consistency (sp?) what?

all of that. power and sand condition being the biggest. i think how long the hill or drag strip will come in to effect also.

I just grabbed some tires out of the stacker to roll it around on, but the tires we run will probably be very similar to those. They are 25" staggered 14 Extremes.

Yes, hill length, sand, power, rider weight, bike weight, gearing, swingarm length, ride height desired, etc all come into play when selecting tires.

Oddly, you could take a well setup lesser power bike, and take names on bigger bikes that are not setup well.

We ran it at Dumont. At that race we had tranny problems, there was a burr on the shift drum that no one caught when we slammed it together to make Dumont.

But, yes, its back together and we have actually been flogging it on the dyno the last few days. Is 67/41 good for a stockbore?
