So a guy i know brings his bike to my house for me to work on.

Him and his brother tried to replace the one way by them selves.....

they tried to wedge a BFH between the footpeg and the flywheel so that it didnt turn when they tried to torque it back down.

well they gouged the ever living fuck out of the flywheel and bent the crank in the process.

barkers performance makes a crank protector that slides over the treads so u dont mess them up pulling the flywheel off, i think it cost ten bucks its worth every penny

Yes... It tends to come off there pretty dramatically. I thought i broke something the first time i did it.

I got through the bolt, but can't get the flywheel off. I'm using the puller, but the whoe flywheel is spinning. I'm going to try with a air ratchet tomorrow. I have to borrow from my GF dad... Are there any other tricks... so I don't notch the flywheel or bend the main

Good Indeed

If you take a serpentine belt off of a car, and wrap the smooth side around the flywheel, and lock it tight with vise grips, it's a super holder. If the belt is long enough you can wrap around your front bush bar or anything solid. Interesting thread by the way, lol.

nope...its just a tapered fit, so its on there good.
okay okay got it all off put new one on and still doing the same ting the old one was just spinning when i try to start wtf i spent all this cash and still same problem did i do something wrong is there a trick puttin the new one on should i have spun flywheel back for it to catch one way ??please help me>>

well obviously you arent a qualified tech cause you couldnt even understand what i said. i said nothing about hitting the flywheel, that is stupid. i said to hit the puller because the shock breaks the lock of the taper and it comes apart with a lot less stress applied to the flywheel and puller and crank. if you are a retard please do not respond to me, i will point out all of your inadequacies.
