Hey just wanted to start a thread here about sprockets.....Does anyone have any input on whats "best" for different applications of riding. ie: duner's what do you guys prefer, Trail riders, what do you guys like?
I am a recreational rider, some sand, some trails, some flat wide open racing and I use a 15t front and stock 38t rear with the big three mods. I enjoy it a lot and find that I'm not pointing at the stars every time I hit the gas. I would probably switch to the 14t if I was going to be doing a day trip of trail riding, the 15t puts you in a weird rev range between 2nd and 3rd so you tend to shift between the two a lot, or you run with high revs in 2nd.
Hope this thread takes off.......I know a few of you guys have a chart with the ratio's for each gear with different sprocket combinations, if you wouldn't mind putting that up for all to see that would be very helpful.

If you have never tried a 13t on trails, do so. Its a blast. Currently I have a 15t though.

i am right now running a 16t front and a 41 rear but will change it the need arises i always will have a 15t,16t and 41t-38t with me :coolshades:

Now I know someone on here has the gearing ratio for different sprocket set-ups. I couldn't find it on the "other" web site but I know it's there and I think it's very helpful to determine where you want to be geared based on certain tire sizes. this will only help this site to be as informative or more so than others. Maybe someone else knows where that thread is that I'm talking about????
