Hi guys im here in the uk and need to lean on you again for some advice (cant remember my old log in details)
Ive decided i want to do a turbo conversion on my 2014 700 raptor and i cant get a pre made kit here in the uk from anywhere and to import one would be a long and drawn out process so doesnt anyone have any sort of list of parts needed that i can build up seperately myself? And an install guide would be nice. I have no issues making parts ect im just finishing off a Kawasaki zx6r engine conversion in my other quad so i need something to mess with over the summer and this seems the ideal next thing to do. As usual thanks for any help and advice

Also i understand some may say its pointless and more power can be achieved in other ways but i use the quad for road use only and i just fancy doing a turbo on it to see what its like

My first time I built my turbo raptor I used a turbo from a Volvo wagon. Than bought a flange from the dealer to match and proceeded to build my own exhaust system to bolt to it. Added some brackets to sustain the weight and found a small intercooler from a Mitsubishi eclipse. Bought some intercooler piping and couplers from ebay. Also tapped into the oil filter cover as a oil feed . Drilled and tapped and installed a pipe to a.n. fitting for the hose. Than did the same with the oil return on the oil tank. Drilled and welded a bung for the return line to clamp onto. I haven't been on here in a while" years" but I beleive I have a write up of how I did everything. After a while though I did end up getting with d7 racing and bought one of his kits. Which was a great and easy kit to install. Not sure if he's still building kits since I haven't heard from him in a while.

Id love to read your write up and there are some kits available from the states but with the import tax and fees it works out around £10,000 pounds which is pretty much the same as the bike is new and from what i can see buying or making the parts should be a quarter of that. I already have the power commander and the big 3 done so surely its just as easy to source the bits and make my own kit its just difficult to think of everything i will need in one go as id like to do the job over a long weekend start to finish if possible

Thank you for taking the time ti replying also bud ita greatly appreciated
